Friends of Black Literature, Research, Culture, and the Arts, Inc Programs

Literary programs expand the public’s knowledge of the literature created by Black writers and support them through conferences, symposia, workshops, forums, educational programs, and readings.

Research programs support the scholarship of independent and established researchers through publications, forums, and fellowships in Black literature and the arts.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Arts programs support Black performance and visual artists through conferences, workshops, exhibits, forums, performances, festivals, and educational programs.

Cultural programs promote and foster cultural understanding, inclusivity, and engagement through educating various communities about Black cultural practices, beliefs, and histories and encouraging conversations that lead to mutual respect and understanding.
